ONE App, the digital financial marketplace powered by Al Salam Bank, has won two prestigious awards at the IBS Intelligence Middle East Banking Excellence Awards 2026, recognising it for innovation, advanced technology implementation, and customer-centric financial experiences.
The winners were officially announced during the awards ceremony held last month, where ONE App received the “Best in Class Open Banking Implementation” award in recognition of its advanced open banking capabilities and innovative digital financial ecosystem.
The platform was also recognised through the “Innovation Team of the Year” award, honouring the IT department implementation team responsible for successfully building and delivering the technology infrastructure behind the app.
As Bahrain’s first open banking-powered digital financial marketplace, ONE App was designed to transform how users access and manage financial services by bringing together a wide range of digital solutions within a single mobile platform.
The app enables users to access budgeting tools, financing solutions, credit card services, investment opportunities, and lifestyle offerings through a seamless digital experience, without requiring users to switch their primary banking relationship.

The latest recognition follows ONE App’s earlier success at The Digital Banker’s Digital CX Awards 2026, where the platform secured two prestigious Middle East accolades: “Best LendTech for Digital CX – Personal Finance (Middle East)” and “Outstanding Digital CX in Banking App/Platform.”
