Fifteen defendants have appeared before Bahrain’s High Criminal Court accused of joining a terrorist organisation allegedly linked to the ideology of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist.
Three others have been charged and will face trial in absentia.
The case was heard yesterday in the presence of defence lawyers, with the court ordering an adjournment until July 21 to allow the legal teams time to review the case files, visit their clients and prepare their defence.
