JIU-JITSU – BAHRAIN’S Khalid Faraj captured a bronze medal in the men’s under-94kg category at the 2026 Asian Championships Adults, held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Faraj shared third place in his weight division with Hu Park Sung from South Korea, while taking gold was Omar Tariq Nada from Saudi Arabia and silver Amaar Alhosani from the UAE. Bahrain are taking part with a six-member squad in the competition, which continues until today.
After receiving his bronze medal during the men’s under-94kg podium ceremony, Faraj was congratulated by Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation president and Jiu-Jitsu Asian Union deputy chairman/senior vice-president Redha Monfaredi.
