His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict 40 of 2026, appointing directors at the Council of Islamic Endowments Affairs, based on a proposal by the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf Minister.
Article I: The following shall be appointed as directors at the Sunni Endowments General Directorate:
Abdullah Rashid Abdullah Ali – director of the Mosques and Religious Facilities Directorate.
Ali Abdulrahman Yousif Matar – director of the Investment and Endowment Affairs Directorate.
Article II: The following shall be appointed as directors at the Jaafari Endowments General Directorate:
Hassan Abdulali Abdullah Al Khatam – director of the Mosques and Religious Facilities Directorate.
Ali Ibrahim Ahmed Al Ghazzal – director of the Investment and Endowment Affairs Directorate.
Article III: The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf Minister shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
