We should also ask our government to impose regulations on breeding, pet imports and mandatory chipping. We are in 2026 and we need those reforms.

It would be good if proper documentation and regulatory procedures are enforced for people to buy pets. This would reduce the number of abandoned pets.

Dumping pets should also fall under animal abuse. If anyone knows their owners please report them.

In my opinion, all pets should have a tag on their legs with a serial number on it that indicates the owner’s information. If we face something like this, the owner can be tracked easily and taken to court.
