The heroic deeds and achievements of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) are currently on display, including evidence of the Iranian aggression against the kingdom that was dealt with by the kingdom’s heroes.
Being held on the sidelines of the Gadeha Junior training camp at Exhibition World Bahrain until September 3, the museum showcases the wreckage of destroyed drones, missiles and shrapnel that were shot down between February and April.
It also showcases the history of the BDF, including its foundation, accomplishments and humanitarian work.

The GDN toured the museum, which is open to members of the public from 3pm to 9pm every day, with entry being given to those who have purchased tickets for the Gadeha Junior camp.

These include the destroyed Shahed drones and Fateh ballistic missiles, exhibited as part of the ‘Mulahema Al Sumud’ section (The Epic of Resistance).
Attendees have the opportunity to learn about the timeline of events from February 28, documented in the form of photos and information boards, and the BDF’s tireless efforts in keeping the people of the kingdom safe.

Wreckage from the Iranian aggression on display
The BDF General Command’s air defence systems have since February 28 successfully intercepted and destroyed hundreds of treacherous Iranian aerial attacks. These unlawful missile and drone attacks even targeted civilians and private properties in the kingdom.
Young people especially can learn what it means to defend the kingdom, with the exhibits organised in a way that makes it easy even for children to understand.
There is a section dedicated to His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The armed forces focus on safeguarding national security, protecting the kingdom’s borders, and participating in joint regional exercises with GCC and international allies.
Additionally, there is a section dedicated to some of the BDF’s achievements, including its participation in the liberation of Kuwait in 1990-1991, its role in defending the waters of the GCC from terrorists in 2006, facing pirates in the Gulf of Aden in 2009, and striking terrorist bases in 2014.
Humanitarian efforts, such as medical services to victims of the 2011 earthquake in Haiti are also shown, as well as providing support to Afghan refugees in 2021 and helping in search and rescue operations following the earthquake in Türkiye in 2023.
BDF efforts in helping the people of the kingdom during the Covid-19 pandemic are also highlighted.
A number of officials, including Education Minister Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma, recently visited the museum, and praised the directives of His Majesty and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister also commended National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the Gadeha Junior training camp, which equips participants with physical and mental abilities and the principles of commitment, discipline, teamwork and self-confidence.
