The UAE is set to introduce a minimum excise price for liquids used in electronic smoking devices, with the new measure taking effect on September 1.
The UAE Finance Ministry announced that the decision aims to enhance the effectiveness of excise tax implementation and support compliance with tax legislation.
Under the new rule, a minimum excise price of AED1 (approx. 100 Bahraini fils) per millilitre will apply to all e-liquids used in vaping devices.
