A man has been arrested by the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security following concerns over comments made in a video recording.
It allegedly contained ‘religious sect insults’ during his participation in a number of events.
The Interior Ministry stated that legal proceedings have been taken against the 31-year-old, whose nationality was not revealed, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
The authorities urged people to comply with regulations and laws, exercise social responsibility, and refrain from publishing or circulating any content that could incite sectarian tensions and harm civil peace.
