A newlywed couple in Kuwait kicked off their married life by stealing a luxury yellow evening gown worth KD850 (approx. BD1,030) from a boutique in Egaila.
Security camera footage reviewed by the store manager showed the couple browsing for 30 minutes before the woman stuffed the dress into her bag while her husband checked the security sensors.
Store staff discovered the theft shortly afterwards when they noticed the gown missing from the rack and alerted local police.
Detectives launched an immediate investigation into the incident, using the surveillance footage to track down and arrest the couple.
