Construction work for the new headquarters of the Hamad Town Charity Society in Block 1205 has officially commenced, a councillor has revealed.
Northern Municipal Council member Abdulla Al Qubaisi affirmed that the work represents an important development milestone and the result of continuous efforts to follow up on the allocation and registration of the land with the relevant government authorities.
The property covers an area of 1,236 square metres and upon its completion, it will serve underprivileged families and those eligible for assistance, directly contributing to the provision of welfare and development services and social activities in the area. “Charitable societies are a fundamental pillar in strengthening social solidarity,” said Mr Al Qubaisi.

“Work will continue in the coming period in preparation for completing the project and officially opening it, allowing the Hamad Town Charity Society to continue providing its comprehensive humanitarian and development services to the community.”
