HOCKEY – The Bahrain Hockey Association (BHA) conducted a coaching and practice session at Al Najma Club in Juffair as part of its junior development programme.
Under the directives of BHA president Sami Ali, Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) equipment was made available for the event, distributed by BHA secretary general Malik Abid Awan with the aim of supporting the continued growth of boys’ field hockey in the kingdom.
The session was supported on the ground by BHA committee members Asad Jamil, George Mathew, and Basharat Ali, who were present to assist with the activities.
A practice match was also conducted between Junior Hamours Boys and Malik Hockey Club Boys, giving the youngsters an opportunity to use the new equipment in a match environment while gaining valuable playing experience.
The event marked another important step in strengthening the junior hockey pathway in Bahrain and encouraging more young players to take up and develop their skills in field hockey.
