F1 – Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) president and Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) vice-president for sport for Mena Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed his immense pride yesterday following the resounding success of the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026, held at Sepang International Circuit (SIC).
Shaikh Abdulla emphasised that this success would not have been possible without the exceptional efforts of the BMF team and all Bahraini personnel, especially the kingdom’s marshals, who once again demonstrated their high capabilities and outstanding competence at the highest levels of international motorsport.
Shaikh Abdulla added that the success of the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia was not limited to the sporting aspect alone, but rather a reflection of the accumulated experience gained by Bahrain in organising, managing, and hosting major international events, which is greatly appreciated at the international level.
