Applications are being invited for the Indian Ladies Association’s (ILA) CSR Excellence Awards.
The inaugural edition, organised in partnership with KPMG-Fakhro, will honour winners across four main categories: Excellence in Women Empowerment, Sustainable Environment Initiative, CSR Company of the Year and Woman of Impact – Lifetime Achievement Award.
The initiative forms an integral part of the association’s platinum gala celebrations, under the patronage of INJAZ Bahrain chairperson and Supreme Council for Women member Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.
“The ILA CSR Excellence Awards are a tribute from the Indian Ladies Association to Bahrain’s generous heart and mindful development model, which serve as the essential building blocks of the kingdom’s larger role in the global community,” ILA president Smitha Jensen said.
The awards process has been designed to maintain transparency and will feature rigorous evaluation.
“A panel of independent, highly respected jury members will meticulously assess the qualifying submissions to select the winners,” project lead Rekha Utham, who heads the CSR Awards team with team co-lead Kavithasree Suvarna, explained.
The last date for nominations is November 10.
The awards will culminate in a glittering ceremony on December 10, bringing together dignitaries, business leaders and community changemakers to celebrate the kingdom’s spirit of philanthropy and sustainable growth.
Individuals and organisations can visit the group’s website, ilabahrain.com, to nominate a person or a company for the award. Self-nominations are also welcome.
