PARALYMPICS – The Bahrain Paralympic Committee (BPC) decided, during its third meeting of 2026 chaired by BPC president Shaikh Mohamed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, to appoint Shaikh Sultan bin Duaij Al Khalifa as BPC second vice-president.
Shaikh Sultan serves as the Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities president and is a member of the BPC board.
He possesses extensive experience in Paralympic sports administration, actively supporting and developing adaptive sports while enhancing national team participation across various sporting events.
The decision to appoint Shaikh Sultan comes within the framework of strengthening administrative workflow and supporting the BPC’s efforts to continue developing Paralympic sports and achieving its goals and programmes during the upcoming phase.
