PARIS: French President Emmanuel Macron address the nation at 2000 local time (1800 GMT) on Sunday, his office said.
The address comes after protests over high prices and public services left one demonstrator dead, hundreds of police injured and led to the arrest of nearly 1,800 people on Saturday.
