Bahrain’s top telecom and security officials convened yesterday as the newly reconstituted Spectrum Strategy and Coordination Committee met for the first time to map out the kingdom’s radio spectrum roadmap.
Chaired by Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) board chairperson Muna Al Hashemi, the session brought together representatives from the entities designated under the 2026 reconstitution decision, including the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, the TRA, the Bahrain Defence Force, the Interior Ministry, the National Guard, the National Intelligence Agency, the Information Affairs Ministry, and the Bahrain Space Agency .
