Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani held a telephone call with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov yesterday.
During the call, the two sides discussed the longstanding and close relations between the two countries and means to strengthen bilateral co-operation across various fields, including political and diplomatic co-operation within the framework of their membership of the United Nations Security Council on important issues under consideration by the Council, in a manner that serves their shared interests and objectives .
