Riyadh: The Saudi Foreign Ministry summoned Iranian Ambassador to Riyadh and handed him a strongly-worded memo in protest of the hostile Iranian statements regarding the execution of terrorists in Saudi Arabia.
An official source stressed the Foreign Ministry’s rejection of the Iranian hostile statements which, he said, represent a flagrant interference in the Kingdom’s internal affairs.
In a statement posted on the Saudi Press Agency, the Foreign Ministry held the Iranian Government fully responsible for the protection of the Saudi embassy in Tehran and the Saudi Consulate in Mashhad, as per the international conventions and laws.
