Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry closed down three pharmacies in Budaiya, Riffa and Muharraq for violating a law on consumer protection.
Inspections conducted yesterday revealed that the three pharmacies had hoarded face masks and raised prices taking advantage of the coronavirus situation, the ministry said in a statement .
