Qatari authorities have agreed to release Bahraini bodybuilder Sami Al Haddad, according to his relatives in Manama.
It is understood the athlete will be released along with a group of fishermen and sailors who were detained in Doha.
Mr Al Haddad and his group of friends were arrested by the Qatari coastguard on Saturday during a sea fishing trip.
