MANAMA: Bahrain Bourse (BHB) has officially kicked off the third edition of the ‘Smart Investor’ programme for the academic year 2020-21 targeting elementary school students.
Organised in collaboration with Injaz Bahrain, the programme will run online for the first time ever.
Workshops will be run in the upcoming semester to provide greater opportunity for primary students to register and benefit from the programme.
Launched in 2018 in collaboration with Injaz Bahrain, ‘Smart Investor’ aims at equipping young students with basic concepts related to money management, savings and smart financial planning through interactive edutainment activities in order to assist them in making sound financial decisions.
It consists of seven-themed sessions designed to teach students concepts like: Thinking, Specifying, Planning, Execution, Saving, Progression, and Evaluation.
The workshops will be delivered across 60 schools, both government and private, targetting 5,000 students in grade 4 elementary level.
The programme can be conducted either through the Zoom platform or through the LMS platform provided by Injaz Bahrain.
