The Health Ministry has announced the death of a 74-year-old Bahraini man and a 71-year-old expatriate man from Covid-19 today.
Earlier today the ministry announced the death of two Bahrainis, a 72-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman from Covid-19.
This takes the total number of deaths to 433 in the kingdom.
The ministry has expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
Bahrain yesterday registered 721 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 820 recoveries and six fatalities.
Four Bahraini men, aged 59, 54, 50 and 44, a 29-year-old Bahraini woman and a 59-year-old expatriate man died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 429.
Of the new cases, 258 were expat workers, 452 contacts of active cases and 11 travel-related. An additional 820 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 110,827.
Of the 7,272 active cases, 152 are receiving treatment and 68 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 118,530 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 3,008,379 tests.
