Dogs target ‘too fat to fly’ seagulls
Everyone is mad that dogs are doing this and that. They are animals, first and foremost. It’s in their nature to survive. Just because our food doesn’t look bloody and alive doesn’t mean we are any different. They don’t have kitchens to take their prey to and cook like a KFC meal. So, please stop spreading hate against dogs. Not every animal is the same. This country is full of people who have dogs and treat them like family. If they are brought up well in homes they are harmless and never pose a threat. It’s how the media shows it to you, that they are ruthless wild animals but they are not.
@xdm7_
Stop spreading hate against dogs, please. The government needs to build and maintain shelters in good condition for dogs and take care of them there. Any wild animal left outside with no food will try to survive. The system is broken, not the dogs.
@nicodimitrov
It is the circle of life.
@thetravellingreader
Okay, to be fair, they are dogs. What else do you expect them to eat? See, no one has a problem with any animal if they can just live without bothering others. Even cats eat birds but no one bothers complaining about them because they barely do anything.
@bruhh_h780
The plot twist no one saw coming.
@digitalabdullah
God bless the dogs ... that’s the natural life cycle of the animal planet ... no big deal.
@nassn01
I mean cows don’t complain about us eating chickens...
@riri.s.k
It’s okay, Ramadan is coming soon. The seagulls will lose weight and fly at optimal speed again. No problem.
@alshirawi5270
Leftover machboos, who left it for them?
@knight_progressive
Can we get ‘too fat to run stray dogs’ next?
@akashhiiii
The dog in the second picture clearly uses Sensodyne to have such healthy gums and teeth!
@khalid_abdulrahman
Looks like the world media is missing Trump for the content he provided to fill the news section ... so we are focusing on what’s natural animal instincts, also known as nature’s circle of life.
@angeli_de
“The good intention of not wasting food” ... yeah, right.
@arefbarbir
It’s called ‘survival of the fittest’.
@anidsilva
All animals in the wild hunt their own food. Dogs are just following their natural instincts.
@krystal.d.s
The damage done by stray cats and dogs to the wildlife is enormous. They are hunting indigenous species into extinction. Just go to the desert and see if you can find a dabb lizard or jerboa which were plentiful before the explosion of breeding strays so callously dumped by unscrupulous owners. This is just one more nail in their coffins. The fact that they now have a regular food source will increase their rate of breeding. And now leaving bloody carcasses behind on beaches, their excrement and harassing beach-goers in ever-growing packs. Relocation, catching and neutering need to be speeded up.
@recyclepointsbh
These dogs are just catching their food! It’s a natural thing to do! We buy meat in the grocery store, they catch it! These dogs get hate, but you hear nothing about the people who threw these guys on the streets!
@marjon_sweet
Let’s talk about animal abusers. Some heartless people will always have negative things to say, to gain attention. Maybe if we fed the strays, be kind, show some love, this wouldn’t happen, and maybe if we kept proper bird food, then this would’ve helped as well. Some people really need to be educated or maybe they just like to act dumb.
Maja Ahmed
These dogs don’t have any furrparents who can take care of them, no one to give them love and care. That’s why they are like this. Poor furrbabies.
Abby Lopez
I’m sure these birds will soon learn how to lose fat the hard way.
Ceedee Otnisac
If you study dogs, they are really cannibals, they eat raw meat. They, especially the stray dogs, love live chicken. Ecosystem.
Eliza Corpuz Eljanel
Balancing the ecosystem. A warning also to those with too much on their waistlines not to venture on the beach. You might end up like the flightless seagulls.
Marvin Sato
Love you, seagulls, please eat less. Stray dogs are very dangerous, they will kill for fun.
Sujith Kumar
Soon they will attack vegetable vendors.
Muhammad Salar
How many chickens, lamb and beef do people in Bahrain consume every day? Let those dogs enjoy fresh seagulls every now and then. Or keep those dogs away from the streets.
Leo Quiason
Why are seagulls breaking their jurisdiction? They must live in sea, not supposed to come to beaches for relaxation. Not only stray dogs, cats are not innocent either. They won’t let you go, my little gulls. Our safety in our hands.
