MANAMA: New procedures have been announced for passengers arriving from Nepal.
Starting from Wednesday, all travellers from Nepal, including transit passengers aged six and above, must present a certificate confirming the result of a negative PCR test, containing a QR code, within 48 hours of the time of departure.
These passengers will also have to undergo another PCR test on arrival, and on the fifth and 10th day of stay, if staying in the kingdom for more than 10 days.
The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19) noted the importance of activating the ‘BeAware Bahrain’ app for all arrivals through Bahrain International Airport, and the signing of a pledge to comply with health instructions.
