New traffic strategy pays off
Maybe enforcing stricter rules and fines for those using their phones whilst driving would reduce the number of accidents and fatalities.
@bassamradhi
Irrelevant as Covid kept people home. Nothing has changed! Unless you are blind!
@kevbiscahawaii
Speed is a huge issue, even going maximum speed on the highway, all the time I get behind speeding and signalling like it is the end of the world; you really have to take your car around in the evening and see the reality.
@blueflower334
Yet people still drive with their phones and go scot free.
@hisham_h_7
Really? A period in which there was no traffic on the road and our GCC neighbours with the exemplary driving skills were not here to inspire us.
@haq.the.ronin
Get people off their phones!
@ifeellikeivebeenherbivore
From what I can see, driving habits have only got worse. How come I can see every other driver swiping moronically through his social media feed and texts while driving, and the authorities have not managed to clamp down on it? I despair for humanity when I see people who simply cannot live without even 10 minutes of gazing at their feeds, putting everyone else in danger or just slowing us all down.
@haq.the.ronin
Stop hooligan drivers from lane cutting and protect law-abiding drivers from road rages and abuses.
@amitkekre
Hundreds join global fight against waste
I clap and am proud of those expats in the photos. Also I’m honoured to have people like you in Bahrain who understand how important it is to keep our country clean.
@alialbasribh
These are the real heroes.
@whatsmahmood
How to volunteer for such events?
@sktehniyat
We posted on @watergardencitybeach page and all throughout the sponsors pages on the event. Will have a bigger campaign next time.
@kavindahdon
Thank you.
@sktehniyat
Whilst this is impressive from all involved, how about harsher punishments for those who litter? I see people all the time I have been in Bahrain throwing bottles, paper, waste, out of their car windows. Surely this would be more beneficial than a once a year clean-up.
@emmalouwalsh1989
Thank you everybody for cleaning up the beach.
@mohammed_altobji
“Throw it anywhere”. This attitude will give you more waste for next year and also you will see the same post in this same page with the same topic.
@mohammed_altobji
Proud of my little country to come up with this movement. And thank you Bahrain for joining the quest for a cleaner world.
