THE eighth edition of the Colours of Life poetry festival will be held online today for all poets and writers from around the globe.
The annual bilingual event is organised by The Second Circle, a sister group of the Bahrain Writers’ Circle (BWC).
Since it was first launched in 2012 by David Hollywood, who is also the originator of The Second Circle, it has attracted poets and writers from Bahrain, Malaysia, the US, Canada, India, Ireland, Yemen, the UK, Pakistan, Germany and the Netherlands.
This year’s event, which features 13 local and expatriate poets, will be presented on Zoom at 7.30pm.

Meanwhile, the annual exhibition ‘Confluence – Where Words and Images Meet’ will be held afterwards at Harbour Gate of the Bahrain Financial Harbour from October 2 to 14.
