Bahrain has praised the AlUla Declaration, which underscored the significance of preserving GCC achievements.
This came as Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan virtually chaired meetings of the GCC Labour Ministers Committee and GCC Ministers of Social Affairs Committee.
He pointed out the directives of the Supreme Council to focus on the economic and development projects aimed at promoting the welfare of GCC nationals.
He also underlined the importance of the resolutions reached in labour and social fields, including adopting policies to cope with the changes in the GCC labour markets, embracing successful experiences to keep low jobless rates, creating decent job opportunities of added value to guarantee economic and social stability and promoting the spirit of social solidarity.
