The Housing Ministry started distributing homes to eligible citizens.
The move is in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s directives to provide 40,000 housing units, and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute 2,000 additional units to citizens.
The ministry yesterday received beneficiaries from the East Sitra Town and East Hidd Town, and handed them ownership contracts and keys, while adhering to precautionary measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
