A TEAM from the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) visited the headquarters of the Smile Initiative to learn more about their programmes, present gifts to be distributed at future events and meet children who have cancer as well as their parents.
The initiative provides psychosocial support to these children and their parents.
The NBB delegation was briefed on efforts to meet some of the educational needs of diagnosed children, particularly those whose health conditions prevent them from attending school.
The team was shown several multi-use halls of the centre, including classrooms and halls for games and hobbies, as well as counselling, psychological and administrative offices.
Additionally, the visiting team also highlighted ‘NBB Hall’ which is used for a variety of activities and occasions.
The delegation expressed enthusiasm about the Smile Initiative, emphasising their desire to strengthen their collaboration.
