A hit-and-run driver has been arrested for running over a bicycle rider and fleeing the scene of the accident in Oman.
"The Police Command of South Al Batinah Governorate arrested a person on charges of running over a bicycle driver and fleeing the scene of the accident," Royal Oman Police said in a statement.
"The legal procedures are being completed against him," it added.
