A SOLO exhibition by Bahraini artist Ahmed Anan will remain open to the public until June 17 at the Art Centre, Manama.
Entitled ‘The Shirt of Absence’, the event, in collaboration with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, is open daily from 9am to 8pm.
In 2021, Mr Anan’s artistic style of caricatures combined with realism won him the second prize at the Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition.
He has also won several accolades over the years and was the president of the Bahrain Contemporary Art Society from 2018 to 2020.
His last solo exhibition was last year in Tangiers, Morocco.
