Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) has set the stage for the finals and the closing ceremony of the 35th GPIC Open Tennis Championship, which will be held at the BTC courts on Tuesday evening under the patronage of GPIC president Yasser Abdul Rahim Al Abbasi.
The cups and prize-money has been allocated for the different categories as well as prizes for the audience during the closing ceremony. In the men’s doubles competition on Wednesday, John Kaya and Ecnicio Darenfed qualified for the final defeating Mohamed Bouhassan and Ali Abdellatif 6-3, 7-5, while Ahmed Jaafar and Nlan Shukaba qualified for the final beating Bruno Soares and Luis Ferreira 6-0, 6-1. Today is a rest day, with the different category finals starting tomorrow.
