An off-duty police officer jumped into action to heroically save a man who fell and got stuck in between a train and the platform in Mumbai.
The incident occurred when a man was trying to board an already-moving train, but fell and got stuck between the train and platform. The police officer, identified as Balaso Dhage, was on his way home when he witnessed the incident.
He immediately ran towards the man and managed to pull him to safety.
The Mumbai Police posted a video of the incident on Instagram, stating, “PC Balaso Dhage, while commuting back home, saw a man stuck between a moving train and the platform at Goregaon Railway Station. Responding quickly to the situation, PC Dhage averted a tragedy and saved his life.”
The video shows Dhage heroically pulling the man to safety, with other bystanders quickly coming to their aid too. Since being shared the video has garnered more than 884,000 views and 33,000 likes.
