Eighty falcons were put to the test in races as part of the 10th edition of the Nasser bin Hamad Falconry and Hunting Season.
Held at the Bahrain International Endurance Village in Sakhir, the Professional Falcon Races were held over eight rounds, with each round consisting of 10 falcons.
In the Juvenile Category, falconer Khalid Ali Al Nuaimi won the Shaheen Falcons heat with a narrow margin over other competitors.
Meanwhile, the BHR Team, led by falconer Salman Al Balooshi, claimed the title in the Gyr Shaheen heat, securing multiple top spots in the same race.

Al Wadi Team excelled in the Hur Falcons heat, while falconer Ahmed Al Hajri triumphed in the Gyr Mix heat.
In the Adult Category, BHR Team shone once again, this time in the Gyr Shaheen heat and the Hur Falcons heat, securing multiple top spots.
The Gyr Mix heat was won by falconer Mohammed Al Hajri, while BHR Team continued their impressive streak, winning the Shaheen Falcons heat.
The season is one of Bahrain’s most important sports and cultural events aimed at reviving heritage hunting practices and falconry competitions.
The current edition also includes other events such as camel races, the Mawrooth School and the Mawrooth Challenge Competition.
Meanwhile, falconers from the GCC have flocked to the Bahrain International Endurance Village to participate in the international race today.
More than 150 falconers have registered for the competition.
