The Humanitarian Volunteer Initiatives Team (Sheyam Al Khair) led by head of Humanitarian Voluntary Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa took part in preparing more than 400 iftar meals at the RHF’s Netaj Khair Al Bahrain headquarters, as part of the ‘Iftar Saem’ initiative organised by Netaj.
Shaikha Sheema also took part in preparing the iftar table for the residents of one of the shelters and had iftar with them, reflecting social solidarity and compassion during the holy month of Ramadan.
Shaikha Sheema also presented gifts to the children at the shelter to bring them joy and share the Ramadan spirit with them, which reflects humanitarian concern for children and families in such circumstances.
The event was attended by RHF acting secretary general Ibrahim Al Dosari and the voluntary humanitarian initiatives team.
