Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani received Russian Ambassador Dr Alexey Skosyrev.
The two sides reviewed the course of relations between Bahrain and Russia and discussed means to enhance joint co-operation across different domains in support of shared interests.
They also addressed the latest regional developments, particularly the repercussions of the Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain and the disruption of international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and exchanged views on regional and international issues at the United Nations Security Council.
The minister separately met UK Ambassador Alastair Long, and reviewed the longstanding relations and strategic partnership between the two countries as well as its continued development across various domains.
The meeting was attended by European Affairs Sector acting chief Shaikha Al Anoud Al Khalifa.
