Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani received a phone call from French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot.
The two sides discussed the longstanding and friendly relations between Bahrain and France, and opportunities to further strengthen co-operation across a range of sectors in support of shared interests.
They also discussed regional developments in light of the continued Iranian attacks against Bahrain and the GCC countries.
