A man has been arrested after allegedly using a social‑media platform to contact several children and attempting to lure them with false promises of gifts and money.
According to the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, an investigation was launched immediately after a report was filed through the MyGov application.
Authorities gathered evidence that led to the suspect’s arrest.
Investigations revealed that the 32-year-old had used unethical methods, including sending content and images of other victims he had previously targeted, in an effort to influence and exploit minors for unlawful purposes.
