His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, accompanied by Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the National Guard Staff Director, carried out a field inspection of National Guard units and their assigned responsibilities to safeguard the Kingdom’s security, in coordination with the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and the Ministry of Interior.
During the tour, HH the National Guard Commander was briefed on the units’ operational roles amid the current regional developments, including updates on operational and logistical readiness. His Highness was also noted of the high morale and strong commitment demonstrated by personnel in executing their duties with efficiency to protect designated areas and counter any potential threats. He praised the professionalism and competence of National Guard personnel in addressing various challenges.
Concluding the visit, His Highness expressed his appreciation for the dedication and performance of all personnel. He conveyed to them the greetings and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister. His Highness affirmed that Bahrain’s armed forces and security agencies will continue advancing their capabilities to ensure the protection of the Kingdom, safeguard its resources, and maintain the safety of its citizens and residents.
