An enthralling employee gathering aimed at promoting participation in a national initiative that supports leadership development of promising Bahraini talent was recently held by the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK).
The session on the National Development Programme (Lamea) was led by BBK employees and ambassadors Ahmed Mubarak, who was among the winners of its fifth edition, and Afnan Shams who was selected to participate from a large pool of applicants.
They introduced the programme’s objectives, methodology, key stages and selection criteria, while sharing their own experiences and insights with colleagues.

BBK Group Chief Human Resources Officer Sarah Jamal expressed her pride in the Lamea ambassadors and their achievements. “Their journey reflects the ambition, potential and dedication we see every day in our employees, and the meaningful impact that they have created through important national initiatives,” she said.
“What makes us even prouder is how they bring those experiences back to the bank, sharing their insights and inspiring all employees. Through this, they contribute to building a more connected, collaborative and growth-focused culture where employees continuously learn from one another.”
