Enersol announced that its portfolio company, EV, has acquired Houston-based Scientific Data Systems (SDS), developer of the Warrior Data Acquisition System, a widely deployed wellbore logging acquisition platform used across the global energy industry.
The acquisition strengthens EV’s position in the wellsite
data value chain by combining SDS’s data acquisition technologies with EV’s
visualisation, data delivery and analytics capabilities.
The integration will enable customers to access a more
connected workflow, moving seamlessly from data collection and interpretation
to visualisation, analytics and long-term data management.
With more than 30 years of experience supporting wellbore
data acquisition, SDS’s Warrior platform is recognised for its interoperability
with logging tools from multiple manufacturers.
The technology aligns with EV’s focus on open and integrated
solutions for the energy sector.
Enersol said the deal supports its strategy of investing in
differentiated energy technology companies and accelerating growth through
strategic expansion, innovation and enhanced capabilities.
The combined platform is expected to improve operational
efficiency, strengthen decision-making and advance EV’s development of a
connected wellbore intelligence ecosystem.
