BASKETBALL – THE overall champions of the Bahrain Summer Tour 2026 – a 3x3 basketball competition being held as part of Sports City 26 at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) – will be awarded a place in the Go Too! Group Aichi 2026 Challenger tournament in Japan.
This was announced yesterday by the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) after the spot in Aichi was confirmed by the International Basketball Federation (Fiba).
The Bahrain Summer Tour 2026 has already staged two rounds of action at EWB, with Team ATTB and Seef emerging as the respective champions.
They will now headline a high-quality field of Bahrain-based teams in the final leg of this year’s Bahrain Summer Tour, which will be played on August 7 at EWB.
The winners will punch their tickets to the Aichi competition, which will be held on October 10 and 11. It will act as a qualifier for the Manama Masters, which is to be held as part of the top-tier events on the Fiba 3x3 World Tour 2026.
The Fiba 3x3 World Tour is the premier street basketball series featuring international tournaments of various levels held around the world.
Masters events are at the highest level followed by Challengers – both of which are fed by the qualifiers, which include Super Quest, Quest, and Lite Quest events.
