His Majesty King Hamad received the credentials of nine newly appointed ambassadors to Bahrain during a ceremony held yesterday.
His Majesty received the credentials of the following ambassadors:
* Gerard Cunningham, Ambassador of Ireland.
* Christophe Farnaud, Ambassador of the European Union.
* Saimir Bala, Ambassador of Albania.
* Kjersti Tromsdal, Ambassador of Norway.
* Carolin Konther Lopez, Ambassador of Paraguay.
* Assane Tamboura, Ambassador of Burkina Faso.
* Ulrich Frank, Ambassador of Austria.
* Madiyar Menilbekkov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan.
* Siddiq Faizal Riyad Koya, Ambassador of Fiji.
His Majesty delivered remarks welcoming the ambassadors to Bahrain and expressing pride in the distinguished relations between Bahrain and their respective countries.
The King wished the ambassadors a successful and productive diplomatic tenure and affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to providing all necessary support to further strengthen bilateral relations and co-operation. He also asked the ambassadors to convey his greetings to the leaders of their respective countries.
