Saudi firefighters are working to contain a forest fire that has been burning for nearly a week in the Tanomah governorate of Asir province.
The blaze reportedly broke out last Tuesday after a lightning strike hit a tree on one of the area's mountains, triggering a fire that has repeatedly reignited.
Authorities confirmed that Civil Defence teams have contained the flames within the forest, with no loss of life or property damage reported.
Tanomah is a mountainous area in south-western Saudi Arabia, renowned for its forests and relatively cool year-round climate due to its high altitude.
