More than 250 people benefited from free health check-ups, consultations and other healthcare services at a medical camp organised by Thevar Peravai Bahrain in association with Al Hilal Hospital.
The camp was held as part of India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations and in remembrance of national leader and freedom fighter Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar.
It was inaugurated by Pravasi Legal Cell – Bahrain Chapter global public relations officer and president Sudheer Thirunilath, who attended as chief guest. Thevar Peravai Bahrain president N Thirumeni and general secretary K Sankar Raj were also present.
The organisers expressed their gratitude to the doctors, medical staff, volunteers and members of the public for their support and co-operation in making the camp a success.
