Dubai Police have busted a 22-member begging gang that allegedly targeted motorists on busy roads, asking them for money and claiming they needed fares to travel.
Police launched an investigation after receiving a tip-off about the individuals. The suspects were eventually arrested.
Investigations revealed that members of the gang had been begging in several busy areas, including Al Khor, Dubai Al Ain Bridge and Bu Kadra Bridge.
