National figures have widely praised the speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad, marking the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed’s birth, saying it conveyed profound humanitarian and civilisational messages and reflected Bahrain’s commitment to promoting peace, tolerance, love, compassion and coexistence for the benefit of humanity.
They praised His Majesty’s vision of strengthening the values of Islamic brotherhood and human unity, and of drawing on the noble principles of the Prophet’s life as a civilisational model that promotes mutual respect and understanding among followers of different religions and cultures, while rejecting hatred and division.
They expressed pride in His Majesty’s affirmation that the people of Bahrain are heirs to the noble values established by the Prophet’s life and custodians of the principles of love, peace and brotherhood.
They said this reflects the kindness and generosity deeply rooted in Bahraini society, as well as the strong national and humanitarian bonds that unite its people and have helped establish the kingdom as a land of peace, humanity and coexistence.
They stressed that the King’s speech carries an important humanitarian message at a time of growing challenges, highlighting the need to translate the values of the Prophet’s life into everyday conduct that strengthens harmony and understanding, promotes moderation and fairness, and rejects hatred and division.
Such values, they said, are essential for building more cohesive and stable societies capable of confronting challenges and changes with a strong sense of responsibility and solidarity.
They also noted that His Majesty’s guidance reaffirmed the importance of preserving Bahrain’s tolerant Islamic identity as a cornerstone of a strong and cohesive society.
His Majesty’s call to strengthen social solidarity, care for families and pay greater attention to young people, they said, reflects the Prophetic approach to building society from the ground up: a strong society is one that cares for the vulnerable, educates those in need of knowledge and embraces its youth.
They affirmed that the people of Bahrain, under His Majesty’s leadership, will continue to uphold their national principles and deeply rooted values and move forward with confidence on the path of development and progress.
They prayed to Almighty God to protect His Majesty and preserve Bahrain’s security, stability, unity and prosperity.
