Bahrain-Oman Friendship Society board chairwoman Rudaina bint Amer Al Hajriyah yesterday said relations between the countries represent a model of brotherly co-operation.
She noted that the society has implemented around 60 initiatives over the past four years, including economic forums, exhibitions showcasing national products and events supporting entrepreneurs.
In a lecture, she reviewed indicators of economic co-operation.
She said that around 900 Bahraini companies operate in the Omani market through more than 2,000 commercial registrations, while bilateral trade exceeds $800 million.
