His Majesty King Hamad sent a cable of condolences to King Haakon VIII of Norway, following the death of his father King Harald V.
His Majesty extended sincere condolences and sympathy to King Haakon VIII, the Royal Family and the people of Norway.
He paid tribute to the late King’s qualities and contributions to Norway and its people, as well as King Harald V’s prominent role in enhancing the close relations between Bahrain and Norway.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a similar cable to King Haakon.
