Saudi Arabia's newest national carrier, Riyadh Air, celebrated the graduation of its first group of Saudi women aircraft maintenance engineers at the company's headquarters.
The ceremony honoured 26 female engineers who successfully completed the diploma course under the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Programme, launched by Riyadh Air in cooperation with Colleges of Excellence and the International Aviation Technical College at Riyadh.
The programme aims to develop local talent and prepare Saudi women to work in the field in accordance with the highest international standards.
